Analysis completed in 2015 on more than 60,000 prescriptions showed that when practices use the Vets First Choice store and prescription management tools, compliance improves dramatically. We worked with Dr. Mike Dryden (aka “Dr. Flea”) to understand the impact of Vets First Choice on preventatives compliance. We found preventative compliance more than doubles compared to the 31% rate found in a 2012 AAHA study.

In-practice rates for pain and chronic medications are difficult to come by, however we have average compliance data through Vets First Choice:
